Where within the Exchange 2010 Management Console can I whitelist external IP addresses?

Where within the Exchange 2010 Management Console can I whitelist external IP addresses?

My organization has only a single Exchange 2010 server that has all of the roles (except for the Edge Role) installed on a single Hyper-V server.

Please provide me with the exact steps.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

the only way to whitelist in Exchange 2010 is through the Powershell – not the GUI.

Specific Address
$list = (Get-ContentFilterConfig).BypassedSenders
Set-ContentFilterConfig -BypassedSenders $list

Entire Domain
$list = (Get-ContentFilterConfig).BypassedSenderDomains
Set-ContentFilterConfig -BypassedSenderDomains $list

lruiz52, I'm very new to the Exchange 2010 PowerShell.

Can you please tell me exactly where in the two scripts that you listed above that I will enter the external IP address or the entire domain name?

Please go to Hub Transport server and click organization configuration -> Select Anti Spam -> IP block list

You can block from there whichever you want..

Also, if u have edge server, u can block it from there. Select anti spam and select sender filter for the domains and block it.
