Learning Cisco

Hi all

I am starting to learn Cisco networking and I have the following kit:

Cisco 2500 series router
Cisco ASA 5505

Does anyone have recommendations of where to start? I have completed the comptia N+ so pretty much have the most basic level of networking skill.

Thank you in advance.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Personally I've been studying for the CCNA and I've really enjoyed CBTNuggets Cisco videos. http://www.cbtnuggets.com/it-training-videos/cisco

They are informative and not boring like a lot of videos you find. I'm sure there are others, but my experience lies here.

just get yourself a couple of cisco 2950 switches, and 1 more 2501 router and you should be good to start. pick yourself up a ccna book from amazon too.
