If you know it's the normal distribution, then all you need is the mean and standard deviation. What else is there that you want to calculate? The pdf and cdf? Are you sure your data is normally distributed?

Free Tool: Subnet Calculator

The subnet calculator helps you design networks by taking an IP address and network mask and returning information such as network, broadcast address, and host range.

One of a set of tools we're offering as a way of saying thank you for being a part of the community.

Variance is just the standard deviation squared. (sigma, not stigma)
There are statistical tests you can run to see if it's likely that your data is normal. How many data points do you have? Do you know how to plot the data on a graph?
Read the Wikipedia article here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normality_test and see where you think you want to go with it. Then we'll help you get there.

If you have more questions on this topic, post in the Math & Science zone too instead of Misc Programming. That'll get more eyes on it that'll know the statistics stuff.
