ASA 5510 cannot delete routes

Hello, I am trying to setup a Cisco ASA 5510 for a remote office and I am unable to delete the old route which is why it seems to not be connecting to our HQ VPN.

I have tried the no ip route command and it doesn't work. Ideas?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Can you post the running config as well as output from what happens when you try to enter the command?

Best regards

The ASA has a different format for static routes:

route [interface name] [destination address] [netmask] [gateway]

e.g. to remove a route from the inside:

no route inside

Also, make sure you are in config mode.

> configure terminal
# no route inside <subnet> <mask> <gateway>

Other than that, do what Kvis said and post the config and the output when you run the command.
