Page/Post Title Customization

When I want to  enter a title for a page that is not part of a title box. I don’t want the title that I entered in the title box to be the real title on the page.

Take a look at the following Images and you will understand.

1. How to add a title in the title box so that I can see it in the post edit page and post list page but it does not appear live on the site?
2. How do I add my own title (with formatting) that appears on the live post/page. I want it to be different than what I entered on the title box of the post?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Disable Page Title..(http://www.wordpressmax.com/wordpress-guide/remove-wordpress-page-title)

Manually add Page Title in content Using <div class="normaltitle">TITLE</div>

<div class="notitle">TITLE</div>..etc

add css for each class in your template css file.

I don't think editing the page.php file or the page template code is a good idea.
I just want this for a few pages and not for everything.

so, where exactly should I make the changes if it is just for one page or a few select pages/posts?

I am not telling you to edit page.php...

I am telling you to Manually add div above class via HTML editor in backend.

Check attachment for HTML editor

Thanks.

And for formatting the newly entered page title (through the code)?

like centering it, changing the font, size and styling?

Abhijeet RananawareWeb & Mobile DeveloperCommented:
Use CSS for formatting.

for eg add css like this

.normaltitle{
font-size:20px;
text-align:center;
font-family: Georgia, serif;
text-shadow:  2px 2px 1px #ec40F1;
color:#108041;
}

Above css is just an example..change colors according to your need
