ecommerce Portal in vb.net

hi i'm planning to build a ecommerce online portal in vb.net .net 3.5 version.

Looking for a opensource ecommerce vb.net 3.5 website/templates with the SQl Server 2008 db, which can be used instantly..

pls convince me why should we go for Net 4.5 instead of 3.5 in above scenario...

this application can be deployed in the cloud computing...

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

All the ecommerce applications for asp.net are in C# now.
Are there still any vb.net ones?
I know BV Commerce was VB, but they now use C#.
You might be able to find some old ecommerce books that use vb.net.
My first ecommerce application was built using vb.net from
a book I bought back in 2006. I use only C# now.

Have you considered switching over to C#?
It is really the same as using VB, except for some syntax changes.
