ipod in wi-fi areas

i am go get an ipod (not iphone) for a few days for travel time..

will ipod connect wirelessly to wi-fi in Mcdonalds and airports?

if yes, could you send me the process to set it up?

You need the current iPod Touch. It's easy from there. You don't really need instruction.

If it is an iPod Touch, it will have support for Wi-Fi. The other iPod models have no Wi-Fi.

yep ipod touches connect.
touch >settings >wifi >(make sure it's on & ask to join networks is on) wifi node name >type security key if applicable & you're in.
