That what we decided prior placing the question. What we would like is if any EE out there with some expierence of DevExpress can give first hand opinion on the question we would like to address:
1. An actual insight of the product and it's ease-of-use
2. A tutorial, PDF or documentation that EE can reference as a good source
3. Finally, an example of the product in practice.
There is a lot of documentations and links and we are going thru them. Some half ways we see its of no use, others are more directed to our end. If there is no EE thats covers this area, it;s ok. We gave it shot.
Thanks in advance

Do you devexpress always or on certain occasions?
I was using it with winforms in my previous job.
ASKER
So you are noti a frequent user of Devexpress ?
I used it extensively before September 2011 when I changed my job.

Would you recommend the product to a junior programmer?
No one can do that. A senior programmer may have trouble working with a library and a junior programmer may become fluent quickly or vice versa. It depends on the person.
ASKER
But if you were to recommend DevExpress, would you? And what would be your main feature of the product that would made you recommend it?
FYI: we want to make a decision whether to keep the product or buy another.

When you started using devexpress, you went on your own searching google for info, samples, demo, tutorials?
Yes. But documentation and samples on their website were very useful.

Any links or references that you personally found effective in your learning curve?

Thank you very much.
Glad to help :-)
Sorted?

We would've appreciated an answer more as a response to our question. Some actual insight view of DevExpress from an EE point of view or some sort of Tutorial references. Anyways, thanx.
ASKER
1. Insight view of DevExpress from an EE point of view on how really ease-of-use of the product is
2. Some sort of Tutorial Video of DevExpress
3. Any fancy examples maybe of the product.
In general, something we can pass the programmer to spite the direction of the use of the tool.
