How to add MP3 to iPod

Hi

First happy Xmas :-)

One of my friends got an iPod so we installed iTunes, updated software and now want to add our mp3 files. Now the silly question how can we do this? Do we have to convert this? Is there any easy software to do this?

Thanks,

Where are your mp3 files?
You should be able to drop the files onto the iTunes application (library view) and they will be copied into your iTunes library.  Then you synchronise the playlist to your iPod.
merry xmas!

Hi

My mp3's are under Downloads.
I tried this already because I can't drag & drop the files into the iTunes application. Please have a look:

Yes It's really strange, your last KB also didn't help.
Where did the mp3 files come from? Are they protected content? (i.e. are they downloaded from a mp3 service that protects its files?)
