Kindle Fire

Hello,

Does anyone know a way that I can get internet service on my Kindle Fire. I have it at home through my wireless and works great, however, I'm wondering if there is a program/service that I can subscribe to or pay for that would give me internet service even if I'm somewhere's where there is not internet (or wireless). So basically, looking to see if I can get internet on my Kindle Fire 24/7 anywhere's I go. Thank you.

The kindle only has wifi capability.  So there are a couple of options for you.

1) If you have a smart phone and it is capable of working as a wifi hotspot, you can connect the kindle to your phone's wifi hotspot.  The cell carriers generally will have a monthly fee for doing this.

2) You can purchase a dedicated wifi hotspot device from a cellular phone provider.   Verizon's models are called MyFi:  http://www.verizonwireless.com/mobile-hotspots-1.shtml.  ATT has something similar.  Data plans for these devices are in the $50 - $60 /month range.

Good luck.
Bob.
