Foxit PDF Reader Spyware?
Anybody else having issue downloading and installing Foxit reader from Cnet? For some reason it's flagging it as spyware by AVG.
I tried chat support from AVG but there's a fee :(
your assistance is greatly appreciated.

"Download.com has wrapper software around most of their downloads that contains malware of various types.'
I'd like to see some evidence of that, especially since most of the Anti-Virus programs use Download.com for their free downloads. Never had a problem with downloads from there.

That's interesting reading. But nothing I have ever downloaded from Download.com has come with that download wrapper. One of the news articles says it's only on 'some downloads'. But I'll keep an eye on that. I noticed that Spywareblaster no longer uses them.

I would try downloading it from http://foxitsoftware.com/Secure_PDF_Reader/ and see if the problem persists.
