FTP command for Anonymous access from Solaris box

Hello Experts,

what is the command to establish anonymous ftp access to windows ftp server from Solaris box ??
FTP server running on windows box.

I want to access ftp server from solaris box using annonymous access, what is the command ??

ncftp is downloadable from http://www.ncftp.com/

You can also use ftp client available on solaris - it's called 'ftp' :)
ftp name.or.ip.of.your.windows.ftp.server
Then you have to login (with command: "user <username> <password>" - without <> and "" of course).
Username should be "anonymous" and password may be blank or - if not - enter some email address (it can be even fake address, like a@a.aa).

This should be enough.

There is no specific command that allows you to ftp anonymously.  Using you the normal ftp commands and, as oklit stated, use the userid anonymous and typically your e-mail address as the password.

However, the ftp server must be configured/setup to allow anonymous access. If the server is not setup to allow this, then you are out of luck.
