I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

for_Van I agree with you about the file but one of your experts said I needed that file.  The code I posted is the code he sent me and at the top of the code it has an import for the class.

for_Van was right.  When I received tthis file from an expert I trusted it.  When I run the program it came with errors on the sun.jvm.type.JFoatField.  The expert did not get back to me.  But when for_Van said that I didn't need the file I should have know to comment it out to see if it would have worked and it did.
