Forcing back sharepoint parent site permissions to child site

Hi,
I have a sharepoint portal underneath which I created a child site. By mistake I deleted all users  from the child site except one who has limited access. On top of it I unchecked the option of parent to child inheritance. Now as an admin I am locked out of the child site and add any permissions on parent doesn't work as I unchecked the parent to child inheritance. Can anyone one suggest me as to how do revertback the option of child site to inherit parent permissions
Thanks

Hello,

you need to log on with a user account that has site collection administrator permissions. Then you can access the child site. On the child site, click Site actions > Site Settings > Advanced permissions > Actions > Inherit permissions.

To get site collection administrator permissions, you need to contact the farm administrator. They can assign site collection administrator permissions through Central Administration, or can see who has site collection admin rights to the site collection.
