RWW for win7 64 bit

I can't login remotely to a win7 64bit client. I can get to the desktop (after 1st entry of credentials) but when I enter name and password I get error message about wrong username or password.

I have an window SBS 2003 server SP2.

I can remote in using RWW on all other XP and Vista 32 bit clients.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

So i'm assuming that this windows 7 machine is actually part of the domain &
I would assume that you installed all of the proper files for compatability between SBS2003 and Windows 7 such as Hotfix KB926505  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926505

Is this the first/only Win7 computer you've tried on your network or do you have others that do work properly and this is isolated to a single machine?

So give this a shot:
"Users receive a "The user name or password is incorrect" error message if they try to connect to a SBS 2003-based computer by using the Remote Web Workplace feature"

It often doesn't try to use the correct domain name. Try using <domain name>\<username> when logging on to RWW.

Adding the domain name worked. domain\user to the desktop logon prompt worked.

I believe the reason for this is that I have a domain name that is 16 characters long,..this is longer than the 14 character netbios allows. Thanks for your assistance....
