"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

If I understand you correctly, then are the fieldnames exactly same?

If yes, then something like:

insert into new Membership table (fieldname1, fieldname2, etc)
select fieldname1, fieldnam2, etc from old Membership table

Another option will be to rename your newly created membership table and then do something like:

SELECT INTO newMembership table from old Membership table.
Another option will be to simply copy the database to a new location with a new name. So create a backup and restore with a new a name and now you have all your users and roles intact.
