I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

See here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_layout_engines_%28HTML5%29  I dont' know how old this page is but there are links at the bottom with more info.  http://www.html5test.com/ is kind of interesting.

I have to be honest - Microsoft has never accepted the FULL rules of the w3c.org.

If you try to watch a video in FLV or MP4 or OGG format with HTML 5 <video> and </video> tags,
under IE 8 you simply can't watch such a videos.

For <canvas> I really don't know. Sorry.

IE9 supports an recognizes the canvas tags, but does not support most of the properties and methods.

if you go to:

http://www.html5canvastutorials.com/

You will see that it does not support much and is very slow.
