Restoring AD Object using ADRestore

An object got deleted in AD under the User's name container in the ExchangeActiveSyncDevices container.  We can't unpair the device from exchange anymore because the object is missing from AD.  I'm trying to use ADRestore.exe -r   to restore the object but when I press Y for that object, it says Restore succeeded but the object isn't showing up where it should be and when I use LDP.exe to view the deleted objects container, the object is still in there.

Does anyone know any better way to restore this object?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Have you tried a 3rd party freeware?  This article has a few downloads to restore AD objects..
