iPhone iOS 4.4 / 4.5 Jailbroken: Install make, wget, gcc, perl?

Hi Experts,

I want to install make, wget, gcc and Perl on my jailbroken iPhone.

I attempted to find wget in cydia, but was not successful, maybe using the incorrect repos for it.

I have openssh installed, and can ssh to my phone.

I've googled and already found the documents you mentioned:

apt-key
wget

Are not available on my phone, hence this post.

If I can do without gcc I don't mind :)

My goal is to install Perl.

I installed wget from cydia after selecting "manage" -> "settings" -> "hacker", killed the app, then reopened it and let cydia update: then did a search for wget.

So far so good.

Now I am stuck on "apt-get" command not found.

I installed "Aptitude" via cydia, but for some odd reason, apt-get doesn't show up in my openssh terminal as an option...

It's working now.

I installed a few other "apt" packages, and one of them must have installed it for me...
