Clear a resource

Hi,

I have a button on my form with the property Image set to closeImage.bmp.
But I want to make this undone so i can set the property again but then to closeImage.jpg.

I could delete the value of the property Image but then it still exists in the dialogscreen
And there is no button to delete this resource. Also I have noticed that a folder will
be automaticly created in the Solution Explorer with my image.

What is the proper way to erase the image that is set in the property Image.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi!
I guess you have to set the default NoImage .
So if there are no images set then there is default image. say for ex: X (cross image)

Thanks!

This is all manual process:

1

Delete Image entry from button, Goto Image property of button and delete Image entry from there, or you can go directly to designer code and delete that image entry

2

Delete Image entry from resource file, you will find a global resource file under "<Project File Path>\Properties\Resources.resx, open that file in designer view and remove that entry

3

Delete Image file from project, goto solution explorer and remove that entry from there

for automating this you can user ReSharper from JetBrains.
