asked on

1360x764 resolution gone

Last week I had my computer setup to a 60" screen.
With the resolution set to 1360x764

This resolution has disappeared!

How can I get it back, I have tried restarting the pc.
Turning the PC on with the TV off
Turning the PC on with the TV on

Reinstalling the device drivers.

I have not changed anything on the PC. I have not updated the device drivers.

How can a resolution just disappear?!

Have you checked to see what the refresh rate is.  With a lot of monitors it won't let you ahve certain resolutions at a certain refresh arte.

Try looking at all the possible options available and seeing if its listed under a different refresh arte.

Have you tried to update both, Graphic Driver and Display (monitor) drivers?
Also check list of supported resolution on 60" Screen, which sometimes support and on next run it doesn't.

ASKER

the screen definately supports the resolution.
I have two of the screens, and the other one is currently displaying that resolution.

The refresh rates are the same.

The only difference is 1 pc shows
Default monitor on bla bla gfx card.

The working pc+Screen combination shows...
Plug and Play monitor on bla bla gfx card
So that would indicate that your PC is using the wrong driver for the monitor.  Try updating the driver or even swapping the connections to see if it does the same on the other card.

You might long term be better off installing the drivers for the monitors and making it run that way as you'll get the best from it.

antonioking,

I've wrote:

Did you do that?
