Outlook Autocomplete Email Addresses deletion through GPO

Is it possible to wipe out the autocomplete entries for all Outlook Clients through GPO, Also is it possible to wipe out only some autocomplete entries and not all through GPO. My reason for asking this question is that all my distribution groups are currently set as dynamic and we will be switching to regular static distribution groups. If you have any other suggestions I am open to them.

Thanks

Ok so here is what I did:
1. I exported the "LegacyExchangeDN"s of all the dynamic distribution groups,
2. I deleted the dynamic distribution groups
3. Recreated all the Distribution groups as Security groups with email addresses and added all
    the correct users,
4. Manually added the "LegacyExchangeDN"s of the dynamic groups to the new Security
    groups

This looks like this utility has command line options for working with the n2k autocomplete file for outlook.

Be sure to look at the file, what is in the users autocomlete, is it the display and smtp address, if so I think you new groups could match that.

I would think the other possible way would be to have a powershell script ....

get all users from dynamic > save to a file
get the group name, alias, proxy addresses, etc.  > save to a file
deletes the group
waits 30/60 seconds for ad replication
creates a new static group
add proxy addresses > from the file
readds members > from the file

Then I would expect the name to still work.

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

Yes and no.  Technically, it's a script being run by GPO.  But this could be run at logon or simply remotely that removes the nk2 file from everyones local profile.

You would have to edit everyones NK2 file, either manually or using some fandangled script which isn't going to be easy.

I am not sure I understand the reasoning.  Dynamic DL's are stored on th server and are not expanded on the local cache.  Therefore converting them from Dynamic to non Dynamic shouldn't be too much of an issue since you would have to delete the dynamic list and then simply create the static one with the same alias and email address.  There is no way to convert from dynamic to static.
