"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Im assuming by the error stated above, that this user may not have Admin rights to update the server. Is this true?

no admin rights given to any users

That would mean you're part of a larger organization. Contact your admin or the person from whom you acquired computer who either can update the definitions for you or give you admin rights so you can do it your self.
