jquery "tabs" work in Firefox but not in IE9

I pasted the sample code below into Dreamweaver CS5, saved it, then previewed it in Firefox...worked great.

Did the same for IE9 ...  does not apply any styling or anything...does not work.

I request help understanding why.

ie 9 pukes

I am really REALLY beginning to hate IE9 and IE in general.  Nothing I write in jQuery seems to want to work right in IE.

Your code works fine for me in IE9.

My guess is you have something set in IE9 that is blocking the download of the jQuery components.

I would 1st try putting all the jQuery components locally and trying again.  Also IE9 has a "Firebug" like debug console which is really nice.  Just click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the browser and then click "F12 Developer Tools.  This will tell you if there are any errors.  Also if you go to the "Network" tab in the Developer Tools pane you can start a capture, refresh the page, stop the capture and see if there are issues with IE downloading the jQuery files.

Also try clearing browser cache, history, etc...

That was it.

I got some message about IE not allowing scripts or web controls or some such...and an option to "Allow Blocked Content"...once I clicked the button the tabs began working like in the other browsers!!

So...thanks!

I still hate IE though...
