jquery "tabs" work in Firefox but not in IE9

I pasted the sample code below into Dreamweaver CS5, saved it, then previewed it in Firefox...worked great.

Did the same for IE9 ...  does not apply any styling or anything...does not work.

I request help understanding why.

I am really REALLY beginning to hate IE9 and IE in general.  Nothing I write in jQuery seems to want to work right in IE.

That was it.

I got some message about IE not allowing scripts or web controls or some such...and an option to "Allow Blocked Content"...once I clicked the button the tabs began working like in the other browsers!!

So...thanks!

I still hate IE though...
