Cisco airnet 1242ag not holding IP address
We have a cisco wlc 4402 and about 31 access points (model is: Cisco AIR-AP1242AG-A-K9). Our wireless network is experiencing some issues and 1 of them is that these access points are set with static IP addresses but they are somehow picking up DHCP ip addresses.
When I'm on the web interface page of the wlc 4402, and I go to wireless tab -> All AP's and then click on 1 of the AP's, I can verify that they are set to use a specific IP address.
Any idea's on what possibly could be happening?

Did you saved the settings, and reloaded the AP?

Yes. I should note that this issue is intermitent. The AP's will all have their assigned static IP addresses and then 1 day they will all have DHCP addresses. I then have to restart the AP's for them to pick up their static IP address.
