Security from hackers attack. What software is best?

I want to ask about protection of PC.

Im using Kaspersky Internet Security Pro 2012 latest update with cloud protection and Norton 360 5.1. with all components at the moment.

I had also Agnitum Outpost firewall for a few days until it made me blue screen today i delete it.

Yesterday my Kaspersky was catching short attacks from different IP (probably proxy)
someone try to connect to my PC i think and i know who and why might do it.

That person is good at internet accessings bcz his job is protecting.

So my question is - is there any software that can protect me from him?
Or at least more or less make my PC safer.

Im actually worried about look ups of my PC and keyboard catchers to lose my passwords.
Thats all.

He is not hacker but programmer but his job was to protect against hackers so he probably knows what they do so i dont want him to use it against me.

Coz im doing some drawing and writing for arts and fun and he might be just jelous and want to come up against it.

No software will protect you 100%!
Are you sure that this is the same person? If yes, I would inform the police in your country.

Im not sure because i didnt lose anything yet.
But if i do then i may know who did it and why.

Anyway i want to install some software, what u would recommend?

About my windows firewall - it says that Norton application is controlling that parameters so i cant access it so far.

If you already have Kaspersky IS 2012 and Norton 360 5.1, i would take Kaspersky. Because good protection and very good support.

Yes WIFI Routers also have NAT Firewalls.

You can't use all 3 Firewalls (Kaspersky IS 2012, Norton 360 and Windows Firewall) at one time

Okay then i have norton 360 and KIS 2012 and Comodo it should be enough and i will put router. Is it ok?

i like Comodo because it shows all incoming connections to my PC. So if someone wants to monitor my PC i guess it will show me that.

I will put also Comodo Firewall
I can only give the same advice to the 3. time. :)
You should decide to use one product on one Computer.

I cant agree with that but anyway. I would recommend everyone to use KIS 2012, norton 360, comodo firewall together because they fit each other very good (all other may be not good together with something else).

But i thank u for advice to use router and i accept it as a solution. Thank u!

i need it for 2 things
first to protect my girlfriends pictures
and second to keep my emails paswords out of her jelous male friend not to hack it from me.

once i let the pictures of my girl friend and my ex girl friend overwritten once or even 7 times and then what i get? one of my felllows for fun restored and copied their pictures. so i broke up with my ex girl friend because of look up to her photo by my friends. now i dont want to brake up again so i need to keep my girlfriends pictures safe especially bcz she has jelous male friend who is programmer.

bcz even i have to keep security but still i need to make my work with drawing and poetry. i have to keep different genres of art in each virtual machine and make an image of particular art style collection in separate machine so that i dont mix my art in one bucket...

Not at all. You will get a step by step instruction printed or digital. After you can setup your VMware. When you buy a new Router you can open a new question so we can also help you.

Okay! So is it prefer to buy simple direct LAN connection router or WIFI or there is no difference for firewall states and back doors for my girlfriends jelous male programmer friend?

No there are no differences. Wireless Router's are a bit expensive.
I would buy one with NAT - and SPI Firewall.

And i deleted comodo firewall
Its crap doesnt work with me.
Maybe its because of geek buddy thing that makes them to connect to ur PC from distance...
I had troubles with comodo anyway.

KIS and Norton are only ones who can live together.
