I have a Windows 2003 Server and have two Iomega External USB Hard Drives to use for Backups (With BackupAssist). Both drives are using Encryption with the standard Iomega Encryption software on the drives.<br />

When the first drive is plugged in you can enter the password in the Iomega Encryption Software without any problems and it works correctly.<br />

However with the second drive it will not load the Iomega Software does not show the option to enter the password for the hard drive. I have tried rebooting, a different USB port and making sure the software is closed and has been reloaded from the virtual CD drive from the second hard drive, but it will still only show the settings screen.<br />

However if I plug the second drive into a different computer it asks for the password and works correctly, and just seems to have a problems on the Windows 2003 server although this is what I need to use it on. I am a bit baffled by this one.<br />

I know this problem sounds strange, but I always seem to get the unusual problems no one else gets! Any advice or solution would be appreciated.

Iomega Encryption on 2nd External HDD not working
