Joomla 1.5 Can you move file and folder "within" Media Manager inside of Joomla.

I am fully aware I can upload files images etc in Joomla Media Manager using the tool itself. I was wondering if there was anyway to drag and drop or move images, files and or folders in the Media Manager itself.......
or.........
am I limited to upload and delete only in order to move things around. What I did was moved a large number of images into a folder then realized I needed to move them to another folder. Having to upload them individually will take a while with Media Manager.

There may be another solution I just do not know what it is. Any support is greatly appreciated.

As panagiotiss said you can do it via FTP client ..or you can its install file managemnt extensions in joomla..
http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/file-management

But most of extension require enabling FTP layer in Joomla Configuration..which is not recommended though.

My opinion is use FTP

I was hoping there was something I could simply stay in Joomla and do the moving of files. It gets to be a bit much when you are moving things back and forth easily with Media Manager then relize you have to switch tools to move dozens of files with an FTP client.

I have Filezilla and with your link above thought I would download the eXtplorer tool that says it will move files from folder to folder. I am doing that now.

Is this eXtplorer tool something that is going to expose me to hacks and website attacks.

If so can something in one of these tools be disabled for a file or folder move then reenabled for the security and safety of my site.....?
Consequently I just downloaded and installed it. I was about to try it. Do you know what I should be concerned about if anything.....?

My advise is don't use it on production site..Disable eXtplorer after it your work is done.
