Visual Studio 2010 namespace not reognized when creating project

I have been using visual studio for some time and up until now have created New > WebSites however i have decided to start working with projects but when i created a project and copied over data layer code etc i have found that the namespace does not recognize the other class files even though they are all in the same App_Code folder. This should be simple and should work by default.

Does anyone know why it cant see them in the intellisence?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Please give some more details.. Like what exceptions do you get while compilation?

And did you try simply copying files from a Website to Web project??

I think you get to convert a Website to a Web Project.
Please refer to this link for some details.

Hope this helps!
