SCE Error

Hi,

We have recently installed SCE on our Domain. It was installed then left to bed in for a week or so over xmas.

When I look at the alerts being generated I noticed that all of servers seem to generate the following alert:

The health service on <Server FQDN> is attempting to communicate with a management group that does not exist on this server. The management group Id the agent is requesting is ad2195f7-cb8f-5812-bc00-edfba4378607. Please verify that the management group specified on the agent and server is correct.

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue I can't seem to find a way of fixing the problem.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Just a Little bit more info on this The warning only seems to occur on for the Servers in the Domain. All of the work stations dont produce this alert in SCE.

I have found an answer which is on this forum post:

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/systemcenteressentials/thread/4113cccd-aa4f-47c0-a785-755767eea511/#7bdee146-8036-4d0c-afa9-27ad02f5a5c0

You basicaly have to log onto the machine causing the error and remove the management group from the SCE agent. To do this go to programs and features and find the SCE agent. right click and select change then select modify in the wizard.

Once the wizard is loaded select the remove management group option then select the management group you want to remove.
