Reserved Error (-7748) when trying to link Sybase database to Access
Hi,
I'm trying to link my sybase database to access, and I'm getting the Reserved Error (-7748). I've searched around, and it seems that others had success adjusting the rededit as an example in the link: https://groups.google.com/group/sybase.public.connectivity.odbc/browse_frm/thread/2f21ea61b400b03a/d1493e17fd30fb77?hl=en
For some reason though when I go into my computer's regedit, there is almost nothing in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
+ Software
+ ODBC
+ODBC.ini
but rather I have the sybase ASE ODBC Driver in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
+ Software
+ ODBC
+ODBCINST.ini
i have added the WorkArounds2 = 40960
and other variations but they don't seem to make any difference. any suggestions? thank you!
