Sharepoint 2007 - Picture Library issue

I created a new Picture Library with a default view.  I uploaded a few folders containing pictures, just to organize properly.  When I click on the Library it takes me to all of my folders first, of course, but the folders are being viewed as pictures instead of listing the folders then entering into the folder with Picture view.

I have messed around with View Settings with no luck.  How do I modify this library showing list view of folders first, then once in the folder the pictures show as tiny pictures instead of having to click on the picture and have it open in another window, for example.

Thank you.

Have you tried using _t for that particular picture library if not try it. Steps are in below article.

Also you will have to create your own customized library if you want those options...Read below articles...

What you are looking to do isn't possible.

Maybe you can just train people to switch the view...

I don't see an option in the View properties to add filmstrip, which is what I was hoping for.

Thank you both for the advice.  I am not going to get into developing a new view, due to lack of time I have to work on SP.  If I do, I will reference these notes and proceed.

Thanks again.

Sorry I might not have been clear.

The "All Pictures" View is the default view for a Picture Library. The "All Pictures" View is a little special in that you can also switch the view to "Details", "Thumbnail" and "Filmstrip".

So basically you don't need to add anything. Everything is out of the box. All Pictures View->Details All Pictures View->Thumbnails
