I pasted the block of code below and the style that controls the p tag it is using. the font will not render in the page - it uses the default font. am i doinb somgething obviously wrong?

Sorry, there is no live link - it is behind a dev server.
<p style="<?= $styles['h1-spaced'];?>" align="center">
<span style="font-family:'museo-sans-1', 'museo-sans-2', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">seen & heard 'round the office</span>
</p>

$styles['h1-spaced'] = 'color:#e31936!important; line-height: 100% !important;font-size: 16px;text-transform:uppercase; letter-spacing:15px;';

use arial before Helvetica this may help you i.e.,

<span style="font-family:'museo-sans-1', 'museo-sans-2', 'Helvetica Neue',  Arial, Helvetica , sans-serif">seen & heard 'round the office</span>
</p>

that didn't seem to change anything

Default fonts are substituted for fonts that aren't found on the users computer.  Of the fonts you have listed, I know that "'museo-sans-1', 'museo-sans-2', 'Helvetica Neue'" are not on any of my computers and Helvetica is only on a couple in Postscript Type1 format.

Hi dave - I definitely have these installed because I can see them on other parts of the website. I also checked in photoshop and i see museo sans as an option
Dave BaldwinFixer of ProblemsCommented:
Maybe not 'museo-sans-1' though?  Note that even if you get it to display on your computer, it will not work on mine.

Also, you might want to look at this http://www.campaignmonitor.com/css/ before finishing your newsletter.  Many email clients are kind of crippled when it comes to displaying HTML.

I think it should be like this:

<?php $styles['h1-spaced'] = 'color:#e31936!important; line-height: 100% !important;font-size: 16px;text-transform:uppercase; letter-spacing:15px;'; ?>
<p style="<?php  echo $styles['h1-spaced'];?>" align="center">
<span style="font-family:'museo-sans-1', 'museo-sans-2', 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif">seen & heard 'round the office</span>
</p>

still no luck

I was able to push it live:
http://tinyurl.com/7u84y42

the code affected is the text that says:
seen & heard 'round the office

towards the bottom of the page

This is what I see:

By the way, your styles in the <head> will be stripped by Gmail and maybe some others.

It works, cannot see anything wrong with it.
lvollmerAuthor Commented:
it's not displaying the correct font - museo-sans
SSupremeCommented:
Then you need to add it in a proper way, use this tool here: http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fontface/generator it will generate example in which you can find how to apply font, Because everything looks correct, I haven't seen this font though.
