Roaming profiles and Windows 7 Pro

We currently have a windows 2003 server domain.  We use roaming profiles for a department here and its been working great for 3 years with users on XP Pro.  Today I set up a new windows 7 PC but was not able to load up the roaming profile.  I tried multiple users but nothing.  Is there a patch or fix to resolve this.  Thanks

W7 profiles are .V2. XP profiles are NOT .V2. There is no way of loading an XP profile in 7. They are 2 different profiles.

So Windows7 is incapable of running roaming profiles or do i just have to recreate a new roaming profile and let windows 7 connect to it?
Windows 7 can still utilize roaming profiles...

Thank you.  Is there any kind of import tool I can use to transfer users roaming profiles or do I have to start from scratch with each individual user and re-create all of there from files?  We have XP pro PC's too.

Thats what I did.  What a pain.  The roaming profiles for Windows 7 V2 work great but its frustrating to know that Microsoft didnt create an import tool that acually works.  As if no one will be upgrading from XP to WIN7 using roaming profiles.  It just seemed easier to do it from scratch.
