I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That's what that code should do.  What were you expecting?

I don't see that code on that page.   The code you have posted above will open the default email client on the viewer's computer when they click on it.  They can then send you an email.

Any other method will require a server side scripting program / language and won't be just simple HTML and javascript.

Here is my PHP email demo.  Save it as "Email.php" and change this $toText="youremail@yourdomain.com"; to your email address.  Make sure you are using a text/code editor and not a word processor like Word to do your editing.

I am showing you this #1 because it works and #2 so you can see what it takes.  I really can't take the time to customize this for your site but maybe you can find a friend who can.
