php gzip or compress using .html

Low level website using only .HTML files.  I can not use php

The compression something the Web-server controls.

If you are on a shared host contact the Hosting company and see if they use any form of compression.

Your are mistaken, this does work with .html files. Both the browser and the server need to support gzip compression for this to work. This needs t be configured in apache or IIS web server.

I suggest actually reading the link that selvol posted for more details.

I read the article and I can not find a solution for html (not php) files

solution was add to php.ini and .htaccess and apache webserver


Is there anything I could add to .html file
