Auditing Folder access

Hi,

I have been aske to audit a certain folder on a shared drive fro a client i have done this but am unable to tell if i have done it correctly as i have only done this within the properties>security>advanced>Auditing.

This is on a sbs2003 server.

Is there something else i need to do this to make it work as i am not seeing any alerts in the security  in the event viewer??

Cheers

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
