Zenoss alerting - getting incorrect severity
Hi
I setup Zenoss for our network containing aprox 50 servers, 60 cisco switches, fibre switches, vmware hosts etc.
I have not completed setting it up so I still have a lot of warnings and errors to work out. What I am concerned about however are the critical warnings, such as when a server/switch goes down.
I set up alerting and I am getting emails however I set it up to only send me critical alerts and its sending be everything above info. To have it only send me critical alerts I used the filter and chose Severity = Critical.
Have anyone ever seen this before or does anyone have any suggestions as what might be causing this?
Thanks
Micah
