RHEL 5.6 defaults to bash

I have been told to install ksh

Exactly how do I install ksh

Run 'rpm -qa | grep ksh' to find whether ksh is installed

If there is no output you haven't installed it.

Get ksh rpm from redhat, cd to your download directory and run ' rpm -ivh ksh-version.rpm' to install it.
