osx Lion resolve windows system names
I'm running an OS X Lion system in a windows environment. I'm not using ldap but I connect to many systems with RDP. I'm using the same DNS settings as the windows workstations and servers here. The problem is that machine names are not resolving from the mac.
I've read a lot about this issue but nothing seems to really be a sure fix.

What happens if you use fully qualified domain name of the host i.e. hostname.domainname.local
You could also add the entries to the hosts file: /private/etc/hosts
ASKER
Nothing, that's all i've been using since this problem started up.
ASKER
Could do that for the servers but workstations run DHCP.
