Windows 7 home prem, cannot click on documents, pictures, music, or video
If I click on the links in the start menu for documents, pictures.... nothing happens. If I try in explorer under libraries same thing. The good news is that they are still in the correct folders in the user profile.
But I think this is causing some issues trying to update my iphone in itunes. Don't know but I have a feeling about this.
has anyone heard of this or know the cure?

have you rebooted?
ASKER
yes, removed virus protection, msconfig and disabled all startup and non MS services.
have you logged into Safe Mode?
if you click on something, what actually happens? does it get highlighted? can you browse with the keyboard--arrows, tab, enter key, etc?
