Images in Adobe Reader are all black

I performed several searches but couldn't find a fix for this one. I received several pdf files and when I open them up all the images are black. Others are able to open the same files with no issues. I have re-installed Adobe Reader but it didn't resolve the issue. Do you know a possible fix?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

have you tried updating to the latest version of acrobat reader? I seem to remember encountering this with certain remote support software also, it might be graphics card driver related.

Re-installed Adobe Reader again and made sure Display Large Objects was selected under preferences (which it was before but it didn't work). Can now display objects.
