Problem with screen not shutting off

I have about ten HP COmpaq 6000 Pro All in one desktops. They all hav ethe same power settings. One of the machines will not shut the screen off.

They are all set for the screen to shut in 10 min, hard drive never, dim in 5 min. What am I missing here??

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

does it not shut off at all? based on your settings?

If you set it for 5 minutes, and decide to leave it on for say 30 minutes to see if it shuts off... does it?

The screen/pwer saver area kinda has 2 areas... one.. when to power off screen, and when to go into screen saver mode... sometimes these conflict..  make sure you have the Power off and the Screen saver mode, set the same as the other ones that work.
