howto navigate between split panes in macbook pro terminal

hi Experts,

I just acquired a new macbook pro, running lion.
i want to have two terminal panes one below another.
I can split the terminal using shortcut cmd+d but i can't jump from one pane to another.
Can you please tell me what is the shortcut for doing this?

Thanks Experts

You can use Cmd + tab to move between panes

does not work unfortunately.
cmd+tab moves me between all the running applications, just like ALT TAB in windows.
what i want to do is switch between two panes of terminal app.

you can replicate my setup like below:
on mac OS lion, launch terminal app
press CMD+D to split the terminal app into two panes.
now i want to jump from bottom pane to the pane at the top and vice verse.

If you open a new window by pressing CMD+N, then you can switch between them by pressing CMD+} or CMD+{

Hope this helps
Andy
hi Andy,

i agree with you but that is not my question.

I do not want to open a new window and work in two terminal windows.
i want to split the terminal using CMD+D and then switch between those two panes.

Thanks
