I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

U have to use HDMI for it .   There must be a for SPDIF , which means optical port for tranporting audio.

In my case i plug it to my motherboards SPDIF to VGA's ( fiber port ) and use HDMI cable to send both of signals

Usually it tranfers video and audio automatically to ur tv but some times you have to set it manually from from Sound Settings -> HDMI set as default for sound.

I already use DVI to HDMI cable to connect from video card (DVI port) to my TV (HDMI port).
should be the from motherboard to video card
or video card to motherboard?

what cable should I use for connecting the SPDIF?

I am new to this, hope u can explain a bit more, thanks!

If you post the TV details (or input connectors) too then Experts will be able to get both connections.

OK, as far as I can see your TV has two HDMI inputs but no analog audio input
If this is the case you really have one of two choices:

Change your graphics output for a card that has an HDMI connection
Combine the S/PDIF digital audio with the DVI video signal using something like

If the TV has an analog audio feed then you could use separate DVI digital video output and analog audio output to supply the TV.

Any chance you have a receiver instead of using tv speakers?
ohh i see now , its VGA with double DVI and S-Video Connection...

1. DVI  doesnt transmit Digital Audio , so u have to plug   PC <--DVI---to---HDMI-->    TV
2 Audio , you have to send with separte cable from output of your sound card , to you tvs analog sound Input.
