Installing a AIP-SSM Module in a Cisco ASA5520

My network currently looks like below:

<--------Cisco 2821--------> Edge Router
<---------Cisco ASA5520-------> (ASA does NAT/PAT, Firewall, VPN's, and will be adding AIP-SSM)      |
<---------Cisco 3550-12G-------->(Aggregation Switch - Have multiple networks that connect to this switch)

I just purchased a AIP-SSM-20 Module for the ASA.  We have not purchased a contract on the SSM yet, will be doing that soon.   My first question is how do I force traffic through the module?  I see the SSM has one port.  What do I plug into this port and how do I force traffic to go through the SSM.  Thanks.
