Hi, Is it possible to create an email alias for a disabled account in Exchange 2003?

I have several newly (today) disabled accounts for employees who might or might not return, depending on sales cycles.

When I try to add an SMTP email address alias to their manager's acccount inbox, for teach of these disabled users, I get "The e-mail address aleady exists in this organization.."
