Resend mail from external within Exchange

Qlemo asked
Last Modified: 2013-03-03
We have a default mailbox where emails to unknown internal addressees is delivered to (as we use smart hosting, and receive by polling).
I now want to use Outlook (2010) to go into the email, and resend the mail, correcting the addressee. Of course I get the warning that this email is not originating from me, but I can still submit.

However, since there is no AD account to check whether I am allowed to send on behalf, an NDR is generated stating I'm not. Is there an Exchange / AD setting to also allow from addresses not in the AD?
