MySql upgrading to 5.5 -- what about queries being compatible?
I'm getting my server upgraded from MySQL 5.0 to 5.5.
The guy doing the upgrade said he does not guarantee that my queries are forward-compatible.
What kinds of query-related compatibility problems are typical in an upgrade from 5.0 to 5.5?
Nothing in the list at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/mysql-nutshell.html looks like it will be a problem ... I'm not using a cluster, any partitioning, or any of the "removed features".
Nothing in the list at http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/upgrading-from-previous-series.html jumps out at me either.
But ... from real-world experience ... are there some typical problems?
Thanks!

I do think he was offering a standard disclaimer ... but appreciate the "boots-on-the-ground" comments.
