From Domain to peer-to-peer network
Currently I have have a small network (3 computers) authenticating to Win2000 Domain Controller. The client don't want to use that server any longer. They have printers and files hostes on another powerfull copmuter, one these 3. They are moving to another office.
Can I just unplug the computers and leave the server behind? Will I have too much problems reconfiguring these computers in the new office to act like peer-to-peer?
Please advice.

Yeah that's I mean. I want to make sure I don't have to touch the server in order to convert computers from domain to workstation mode.

I remember there is a regidstry trick on how to redirect profiles from one another. I have done this before during the domain migrations. I will see if I can remember and let you know.

Actually in my case it shouldn't be the issue. Computers are a members of the domain. However, the users are do not logon to the domain. They just logon locally into the workstation. This is how they been working for over 10 years :-) Not sure why. Probably a methd of separation from another firm.
So I wouldn't have to transfer the the user' profile..
